Brit’nee Haskins, DVM

Rotating Veterinarian

Britnee Haskins

I am originally from PG County, Maryland and eventually moved to Charlottesville, Virginia as a teenager. I have been up and down the East Coast for my education for my high school and undergraduate years, earning my B.A. in Anthropology at Davidson College in Davidson, North Carolina. I journeyed out to the Midwest to earn my D.V.M. at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign where I also was involved in research at the College of Veterinary Medicine.

My interests in veterinary medicine include internal medicine, cardiology, shelter medicine, and how veterinary medicine contributes to improving public health. Outside of veterinary medicine, my interests include running, yoga, and spending time with my Chihuahua Mamacita and Tabby cat Medici. I consider the DC Metro area my home, so I am so excited to return to the area and spend my internship year with Friendship!

Friendship provides state of the art, comprehensive services for our clients and patients. But, more than that, we provide a caring team who understand the unique human-animal bond. View Our Services
