I grew up in Columbia, South Carolina, and attended Clemson University, where I earned my bachelor’s degree in Animal Science (Go Tigers!). During my time at Clemson, I developed a passion for working with animals of all kinds, both large and small. Each summer, I worked at a veterinary surgery clinic, where I discovered my interest in orthopedic surgery and gained an appreciation for the impact surgical care can have on improving an animal’s quality of life. I later earned my Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of Georgia (Go Dawgs!).
Outside of the hospital, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, cooking, playing pickleball, and hanging out with my goofy Basset Hound, Billy.
