Meet our Doctors

Kassandra Oldham, DVM

Staff Veterinarian

Emergency & Hospitalization

Growing up on a small ranch in Texas sparked my lifelong love of animals and ultimately led me to pursue a career in veterinary medicine. My training has taken me across the country, from Pensacola, Florida, where I completed my undergraduate studies, to Fort Collins, Colorado, for veterinary school, and then to Columbus, Ohio, for a small animal rotating internship. After years of learning and exploring new places, I am excited to put down roots in Washington, DC, and join the team at Friendship!

When I’m not in the hospital, you can usually find me at the gym, outdoors, at a concert, or trying a new restaurant. I also enjoy spending time with my two cats, Tesla and Marie Curie, who provide plenty of entertainment at home (any yes I have plenty of pictures to share).

My clinical interests include emergency and critical care medicine, particularly neurologic emergencies, shock, and acute abdominal disease.

Education:

  • University of West Florida College of Science and Engineering, B.A. Biochemistry
  • Colorado State University College of Veterinary Medicine, DVM
  • Ohio State Universtiy College of Veterinary Medicine, Small Animal Medicine and Surgery Rotating Internship
