Meet our Doctors

Niharika Verma, BSc, DVM

Staff Veterinarian

Primary Care

I grew up in Canada, in a small town near Niagara Falls. Veterinary medicine has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. My father is a veterinarian, so I spent many summers helping out around the clinic. Those early experiences, along with volunteering in a variety of clinical settings, solidified my decision to become a veterinarian.

I attended St. George’s University in Grenada, where I earned my Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree and adopted my island cat, Goose, who still keeps me company today. I then moved back up north to complete my clinical rotations at the University of Minnesota. Following graduation, I completed an internship rotating through emergency medicine, primary care, and shelter medicine in Virginia.

In my free time, I enjoy traveling, learning new languages, exploring the outdoors, and discovering the best food spots.
