Meet our Doctors

Leah Goldberg, DVM

Rotating Veterinarian

I am originally from the suburbs of D.C. and am so excited to be back in the area. I attended Clemson University (go tigers!) for my undergraduate career and obtained by Bachelor of Sciences in Animal and Veterinary Sciences. Throughout undergrad I completed various internships with zoo and aquatic animals as well as worked as a small animal veterinary assistant. These experiences are what drove my passion to apply for veterinary school. I completed my DVM at Virginia Tech; while I’ll miss the mountains and college town feeling I am extremely excited to be back in the city! In my free time, I enjoy trying new restaurants/ wineries and breweries, running and working out, and spending time with my husband. I currently have a 6 year old tuxedo cat named Lily and a 3 year old pitbull mix named Pancake.

During my interviews for internships I was immediately drawn to the positive energy, collaborative environment, and friendliness of the staff at Friendship. They made me feel welcomed instantly and I am so excited to be joining their team this year!
