I am originally from Atlanta, Ga. I have always loved animals, but I did not decide to pursue vet school until my junior year in college! I graduated from Vanderbilt University in 2012 with a BA in Public Health and then went on to obtain a Master’s degree in Public Health from the University of Maryland. I headed back down south for veterinary school at University of Georgia where I graduated as a member of Phi Zeta (the veterinary honors society) in May 2019. My clinical interests include primary care, cardiology and soft tissue surgery.
I was drawn to Friendship because it is one of the few internship programs that is diverse in the specialty care provided and it exudes an atmosphere of hospitality and inclusivity. Additionally, I lived in DC as a graduate student and fell in love with everything it offers! I am so excited to be back!
I live with my fiancée and two dogs, Ava and Quincy. In my spare time I enjoy playing video games, singing, listening to all kinds of music and trying new things.
