Born in Staten Island, NY I began my veterinary career at the young age of 14-years old, cleaning kennels for one of the neighborhood clinics. From there, I went on to pursue my degree in Biology from Mount Saint Mary College in Newburgh, NY. Then, it was off to Blacksburg, VA to attend the Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine where I graduated with my DVM focused in Population Health Sciences.
Currently, I live in Washington, D.C. where I’ve resided for the past 4-years. During my academic career I had the privilege to perform internships throughout many departments in our federal government, and even spent 3-months in Ghana working with Rabies and Animal Welfare Laws.
