I grew up in Connecticut and horses were my true love. Throughout my high school years, I worked at an equestrian center as a barn manager and riding instructor. I even rode on the intercollegiate equestrian team during my undergraduate years. Riding horses remains one of my favorite hobbies. I also love going to the movies. But mostly, I enjoy spending time just lounging at home with my wonderful husband Jerrold, our two precious children Sydney and Jason, and our two dogs – Cleopatra (a Rottweiler) and Diesel (a Bullmastiff) who we affectionately call “the moose’s”.
Clinical Areas of Interest
My professional interests include soft tissue and emergency surgery, dentistry and primary care, where I am able to establish life long relationships with my patients.
Why Do You Work at Friendship?
Following my internship, I joined the Friendship family in 2005. I am proud to be part of a team that provides such high quality medicine and genuine care and compassion for their patients.
I attended the University of Virginia, in Charlottesville VA, where I earned a bachelor’s degree in Biology. After graduating from Tuskegee University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2004, I completed a rotating internship in small animal medicine and surgery here at Friendship Hospital for Animals.
