Often a major stressor within veterinary care is the significant financial burden that accompanies the care and decision-making process for your animal. We all need to balance the intersecting responsibilities, resources and stressors we have in our lives when considering our animal’s care. However, there are options for seeking financial aid for veterinary care. Please find below a list of pet-care resources offering financial assistance. Be aware many organizations have very limited funding available despite the high need. We also have more information on pet insurance options here.

Humane Society of the United States
Provides a national list of programs and resources for pet-related financial aid

Non-profit organization that provides financial assistance to owners of domestic animals in the United States for non-basic, non-urgent veterinary care
