Open House & Block Party – June 7th 11:00am – 4:00pm

It’s a celebration and you’re invited! Come celebrate our 75th with us!
Join us as we celebrate the unveiling of our 16,345 square foot renovation, which includes an 8,000 square foot second floor expansion, with a community block party and special pet adoption event featuring our rescue partner Washington Humane Society‘s Adopt Force One mobile adoption center.
Fun for the whole family, this event will feature complimentary carnival-like entertainment including cotton candy and popcorn, a moon bounce and photo booth.  We have also partnered with Tenley Sport & Health to offer complimentary Zumba classes throughout the event.  Enjoy light fare and refreshments that are available for purchase from Tenley Gastropub, as well as guided tours of our new state-of-the-art hospital facility.

Adoptathon
Washington Humane Society logoThe Washington Humane Society‘s Adopt Force One mobile adoption center will be on-site at Friendship Hospital for Animals for pet-lovers looking to bring home a new furry friend.  Dogs and cats adopted at the event will receive an on-the-spot, complimentary exam from a Friendship veterinarian.

Silent Auction
Attendees looking to make a difference, without the commitment of a new dog or cat, have the opportunity to bid on a selection of silent auction items such as “Puppy Wellness Plan”, “Have a Vet Visit Your School”, “Pet First Aid Kit” and “Canine Hydrotherapy Sessions”.  All proceeds will benefit the Washington Humane Society.
