I grew up and went to high school outside of Philadelphia. I went to undergrad at Florida State and attended veterinary school at the University of Florida. Following veterinary school, I spent 2 years working at the University of Minnesota Medical School in preclinical heart valve research. Later, I decided to return to the clinical side of veterinary medicine and completed a small animal surgery internship at the Veterinary Specialty Center in Buffalo Grove, IL on Chicago’s North Shore. I returned to Minneapolis the following year and completed my small animal surgery residency at the University of Minnesota. I have 3 dogs at home. Frank a chihuahua mix, Marvin a terrier mix, and Sasha a Husky Shepherd Mix.
Why Do You Work at Friendship?
I was drawn to Friendship because of the hospital’s reputation for providing quality care, it’s location, and most importantly because I got the feeling that people genuinely enjoy working there.
