I grew up in Massachusetts before my family settled in New Jersey. I spent my childhood surrounded by cats, dogs, horses, and the occasional wildlife rescue, so veterinary medicine was always the right career path.
In my spare time, I enjoy hiking, photography, and international road trips with friends. I spent a decade writing and editing for a television website, which sent me to cover conventions and conduct interviews across the globe. At home, I have a Labrador, Adelaide, and two cats, Mulder and Radar.
