I am originally from Norfolk, Virginia and grew up around large dogs, feisty cats, and two sarcastic older siblings. My passion for veterinary medicine began at 16 years old when I started working as a veterinary assistant at a local small animal clinic. I graduated from the University of Virginia with a BA in Biology, and then received my veterinary degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine. During veterinary school, I helped run a shelter medicine student surgery program and routinely volunteered at Philadelphia animal shelters.
My professional interests include emergency and critical care, internal medicine, neurology, and surgery. In my free time, I enjoy baking, brunching, hiking with my exuberant dog Wazzy, and playing Settler’s of Catan. I am incredibly excited to join the Friendship family and explore the DC area.
