A Pacific Northwest native, I was born and raised in Seattle, Washington. Veterinary medicine has been a constant presence in my life, as I grew up hearing my mother’s stories and visiting the veterinary clinic where she practiced. I left Seattle to attend the University of Pennsylvania, where I earned my BA in Biology, before returning to Washington to study veterinary medicine at Washington State University. As veterinary students do, I adopted several animals while in Pullman: two majestic cats and a wonderfully goofy dog. In my free time, I enjoy playing soccer, hiking, experimenting with new recipes, and catering to my pets’ every whim.
