I have been working at Friendship Hospital for Animals since July of 2011. I received my undergraduate degree from Colorado State University, where I worked on research projects at the Centers for Disease Control and Colorado State University Medical Oncology Research Laboratory. When I wasn’t studying or breeding mosquitoes, my time was spent caring for a large colony of desert tortoises.
I attended University College Dublin for my veterinary studies, and spent time afterwards at the Dublin SPCA as well as the Irish Blue Cross. Leaving Ireland was difficult, but made easier by returning to my hometown and completing an internship here at Friendship. Currently, the urgent care department is my primary focus and I am happy to continue working with my mentors and friends. My free time is spent enjoying the outdoors and traveling with the most wonderful companion ever, my Irish/German Shepherd, Isa.
