I am originally from NOVA, specifically Annandale. I have been up in Boston for the last 8 years for both my undergraduate and veterinary degrees, and as much as I have loved living in Boston, it’s really nice to be moving back home. I am drawn to veterinary medicine due to my love and joy of working with pets, working with owners, and my immense fascination with science and medicine. I’ve lived with many dogs and cats over the years, but am now in the process of adopting my own pet since moving back to the DC area. In my free time, I like to workout, walk around the city, go to concerts, and do a variety of activities with friends that range from dancing to video games.

Why do you work at Friendship
I am SO EXCITED to be working at Friendship! I chose Friendship for numerous reasons. Coming from this area, I was very familiar with the internship and have worked with so many amazing doctors who have graduated from this hospital’s internship program. Additionally, the emphasis that Friendship places on teamwork and collaboration was extremely important to me, as I am a strong believer in two heads are better than one. Finally, I wanted to do an internship at a practice that offers insight into dermatology, internal medicine, anesthesia, and general practice.
