I grew up just outside D.C in the suburbs of Maryland. I graduated from University of Maryland and then went on to Penn for vet school. Although my interest is primarily in companion animal medicine, I worked with livestock and horses on the campus farm in undergrad. In addition to my love of all creatures great and small, I enjoy reading (bonus if it’s in my hammock somewhere outdoors), and staying active rock climbing. I’m so incredibly happy to move back to the DMV area to family and friends. I am plant mom to a thriving indoor garden, and cat mom to a 6 year old cat named Dory, who is my whole world.
I’m excited to work at Friendship because of its fantastic mentors, proximity to home, and diverse caseload. I appreciate an environment that supports work/life balance, and will be a positive learning experience for me this year.
