Growing up in England, working with animals has long been my passion. I started riding horses at a young age, and much to my parent’s dismay, it was not just a phase. I volunteered with a therapeutic riding agency for children and adults with disabilities; I was amazed by the profound impact animals have on people and vice versa.
My family relocated to Connecticut during my middle school years for my father’s work. After completing high school, I moved to Scotland and worked on a lambing farm as well as a mixed practice veterinary clinic.
Outside of the hospital, I live with my fiancé and adopted cat. I thoroughly enjoy outdoor adventures including skiing, cycling, traveling, and recently have picked up the frustrating sport of golf. I am thrilled to join Friendship Hospital for Animals and explore all DC has to offer!
