Internal Medicine

Courtney Wright

I grew up in a small town outside of Flint, Michigan and attended undergrad at University of Michigan in Ann Arbor (Go Blue!). I later migrated south to Columbus for veterinary school at Ohio State University (still…Go Blue!), then Seattle, WA for my rotating internship. I currently just have one mischievous cat named Professor Plum but hope to adopt a dog sometime soon. If I’m indoors, I like quilting, knitting, painting and reading, amongst other activities. If I’m outdoors, I enjoy backcountry camping, dayhiking, kayaking, long distance running, and swimming to name a few. Pretty much you name it, I’ll give it a try!

Clinical Areas of Interest

I’m fascinated by most aspects of internal medicine but have particularly enjoyed learning about endocrinopathies, infectious diseases, and gastrointestinal diseases.

Why Did You Want Work at Friendship

I was really inspired by the hospital’s commitment and enthusiasm for advancing my education in internal medicine. Not only that, but the facility is very impressive and provides the opportunity to learn many advanced diagnostic techniques and case management skills.
