I grew up in Montgomery County in Maryland; and left the area to attend Boston College. I completed my degree in Biochemistry before pursuing my DVM at the Virginia Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine. Shortly after graduation I took a position as an emergency clinician in Hawaii where for almost 3 years I had the pleasure of growing as a doctor while exploring the beautiful islands and solidifying my love for surfing. My journey took me back to Maryland about 2 years ago where I have had the opportunity to continue practicing emergency and critical care medicine at a specialty hospital.
Surgery has always been a passion on mine, and after 5 years in the ER I have decided to pursue it full time and am very excited to be doing so at Friendship Hospital for Animals.
When not working, I can be found at the gym, traveling with my husband, or taking lessons in relaxation from my dog Jackson.
