I am a proud D.C. native! I grew up with cats and dogs and rode horses for many years at Meadowbrook Stables in Chevy Chase, MD. I started my veterinary career with a week-long internship at Friendship Hospital for Animals during 7th grade. After which, I took a brief hiatus to complete my schooling. I attended Mount Holyoke College where I studied mathematics and psychology. After graduating, I returned to Friendship as a veterinary technician while taking pre-requisite courses for veterinary school. After 4 years, I moved to Philadelphia to attend the University of Pennsylvania where I earned my V.M.D.
My professional interests include radiology, emergency medicine, and neurology. After my internship, I hope to pursue a residency in diagnostic imaging and eventually live on a small farm with a herd of goats. In my free time, I enjoy cooking, painting, singing loudly while driving, and binge-watching Netflix with my wife and dog.
