Originally from a small coastal town, Oceanport, New Jersey, I grew up with my parents, brother, and as many pets that I could convince my parents to allow in our house. I have always wanted to be a veterinarian, and have been pursuing this dream my entire life, kicking off the quest to vet school by attending a pre-medical high school. I then received my undergraduate degree in biology from the University of South Carolina, where I developed a love for sweet tea and college football Saturdays. I decided to leave the beautiful southern weather and head back up north to the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia for veterinary school.
Throughout vet school, I thoroughly enjoyed being involved in all of the disciplines of veterinary medicine, but I have a special passion for dentistry and maxillofacial surgery, internal medicine, and primary care. After my internship, I hope to pursue a residency in dentistry and oral surgery and eventually live on a farm with a small herd of goats, nearby hiking trails, and lots of space for my dog to enjoy.
In my free time, I enjoy outdoor adventures with my 3-year-old goldendoodle, Piper, trying new foods, spending time with family and friends, going to the beach, running, and painting.
