Appointment Policy
We offer appointments from 7am to 9pm Monday thru Friday and 8am-1pm on Saturdays and Sundays. We recommend that you schedule an appointment with your preferred veterinarian for consistency of care. However, all of our veterinarians have access to your pet’s records and can assist you if your preferred veterinarian is unavailable. You can call twenty-four hours a day to schedule an appointment or request an appointment from your private online Pet Portal.

Pre-Surgical Policy
We offer routine surgeries and dental cleanings Monday thru Friday. All surgical patients must be current on vaccinations and must have been examined by a Friendship veterinarian within the last six months.
Food should be withheld the night before surgery after 8pm. All rawhides or toys that could be ingested should also be taken from your pet at this time. Your pet can continue to have access to water until he/she is dropped off at Friendship.
We require routine pre-surgical bloodwork to screen for anesthetic risks. The bloodwork performed during an appointment or on the day of the surgery. Surgeries can be scheduled twenty-four hours a day by calling one of our Client Care Specialists.
Your pet must be dropped off by 8:30am. Pets that come in for a neuter, a dental cleaning, or many other routine surgeries are able to go home the same day after 5pm. Pets that come in for spays or other, more complex surgeries can be picked up after 10am the next day—ask the Client Care Specialist when scheduling to be sure.

Drop-Off Policy
Friendship offers drop-off appointments for routine examinations and problems Monday thru Friday. Call to speak with one of our Client Care Specialists to see if this is an option for your pet’s needs. You should drop-off your pet before 8:30am. The doctor will examine your pet and call you to discuss your pet’s history. You can pick-up any time after you speak with a doctor. There is no additional charge for drop off service.

Overnight Patients
We have a veterinarian on the premises and are fully staffed twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week. Surgeons and others are on call should their skills be required. If your pet needs to spend the night, you can be sure that our dedicated staff will be there for all of his/her needs.

Emergencies
Friendship has an emergency veterinarian at the hospital twenty-four hours a day for urgent care visits. If your pet has an emergency at any time of the day, we’ll be here for you. If possible, call ahead to let us know that you are coming and the nature of the emergency.
Friendship is one of only a very few large hospitals in the area that provides emergency services 24 hours every day in addition to providing primary care. We provide emergency services for the clients of many other area animal hospitals.

Payment Policy
Providing your pet with exceptional health care 24 hours a day is not inexpensive. It is our opinion, however, that veterinary care in general, and veterinary care at Friendship, in particular, is the best value in health care today.
Payment is due at the time services are rendered. If your pet is admitted to the hospital, the veterinarian will ask you to leave a deposit (usually the amount of the estimated charges for the first twenty-four hours). Feel free to ask for an estimate of charges at anytime.
We accept Cash, Personal Checks, Visa, Mastercard, American Express or Care Credit.
